A visit to the mighty Mount Hengill
Only a few miles east of Reykjavík a very powerful geothermal area can be found at and around the mighty Mount Hengill. Plenty of wild activity with boiling mud pools and the hot steam rising from the ground. You will also see how the Icelanders have harvested these powers with already two geothermal power plants in the area. One landing/stop is made on this tour. Journey time about 1 hour.
